In the cab ride from the airport, the girls and I agreed we'd have to hop around the city a bit, but the shopping rewards would be well worth it... next morning, 9:00 AM we arrived at 550 7th Avenue, the excitement of going to a famed designer sample sale, along with the energy of New York's Garment Center, was intoxicating.
Our next stop was SOHO, where we spent the entire afternoon walking around Prince, Spring and West Broadway, enjoying the wonderful boutiques, cafes and art galleries.
In the taxi back to the hotel, I promised my aching feet that tomorrow I would definitely choose shoes for comfort over style... well, maybe.
